Storms and earthquakes have changed old ways of living forever. A stranger on horseback gallops into a treehouse village called Sassamatta Grove, searching for Sarah Spellings. His name is Charlie Crow. He comes from the Cariboo, a land of grassy inland plains over the Coast Mountains. Charlie has heard stories about Sarah’s powers, and he needs her help – his people are under siege by a gang of thieves called the Cariboo Posse.
